Mori Nonaka

Guest House

The guesthouse Mori Nonaka is a rustic, convenient inn located along the Kumano Kodo Nakahechi route near historical Tsugizakura sites. It is run by a family who fell in love with Kumano’s natural beauty and warmth and renovated a traditional country home to provide a cozy and welcoming accommodation. Famed sites like Toganoki-jaya teahouse, Tsugizakura-oji shrine with towering 800-year-old cedar trees, and the refreshing Nonaka-no-Shimizu spring. There are two rooms available, so with a warm futon and two meals plus a lunch box, this inn could suit either Kumano Kodo pilgrims or those staying for a longer retreat.
