Walk the full length of the Camino de Santiago
Ever wondered what it would take to walk the full length of the Camino do Santiago? Well, we’ve just prepared a quote for this for a client, so we thought we’d share it.
It’s a long long walk BTW, about 800km.
“Is it possible to walk the full length of the Camino de Santiago?”
The walk would take about 35 days, averaging between 20km and 30km per day, with the shortest day 17km and the longest day 33km.
The route would start at St Jean Pied de Port and then over the course of five weeks (wow that’s a long walk) meander through pilgrimage trail village after pilgrimage trail village, taking in fascinating, changing landscapes and countless historic sites, finishing up at Santiago de Compostela on the final day!
We’ve worked with our Camino de Santiago partners on the ground to launch this ‘full length of the Camino de Santiago’ package, and this is what it looks like;
